How ElleVance is Grown

The ElleVance hemp is grown on their farm in Colorado, USA – the acknowledged centre of excellence for hemp farming and production in the US and around the world.

They take clones of healthy mother plants each cycle and grow these under controlled, pesticide-free conditions that can rely on the clean air and fresh water of the Mountain State. Using clones rather than seeds helps to ensure our plants produce the same levels of cannabinoids and terpenes year after year.

How ElleVance is Produced?

ElleVance products are made in the USA using advanced hemp extraction and production automation. After harvesting, their hemp plant material is rapidly dried and goes through their optimized extraction process to collect all the natural goodness into a pure concentrated extract. They then add organic sesame oil to reach a final blend.

How is Hemp good for the planet?

Hemp breathes in CO2 and acts as natures purifier. For every tonne of hemp produced, 1.63 tonnes of carbon is removed from the air.

Hemp regenerates the soil and has natural sustainability, the stem and leaves of the hemp plant are jam-packed with nutrients. As the plant matures and the seed grows, leaf matter falls to the ground and decomposes replenishing the soil with goodness ready for the next crop. Another aspect of Sustainable farming is regarding the rotation of crops according to the season in order to maintain the soil nutrients. Because Hemp is an annual crop, which grows within just four months of being planted it is ideal for crop rotation making richer, cleaner soil and a greater crop yield. Hemp also doesn’t require any pesticides or herbicides to grow, thus preventing pollution and water contamination and reducing the amount of toxins in our environment.

The roots of the hemp plant grow strong and very deep, up to nine feet deep, these roots help prevent soil erosion by holding the soil together which is one of the greatest problems facing some farmers today. Hemp also has the incredible ability to irrigate itself naturally, which means it requires very little water to grow.
